Imran fights back to beat Gaurav


Imran Sayyed dropped the first game before rallying to stop Gaurav Sawant to storm into sub-junior boys singles pre-quarter final in the late Pratap Vora All-Mumbai Promotional table tennis tournament, sponsored by JPV Realtors and co-sponsored by HIGH TIDE, and jointly hosted by OZONE Events N Media And Guru Table Tennis Centre at Kandivali Education Society’s Hall At Kandivali here today. Gaurav started well and took the first game , but once Imran found his bearings, he just outplayed his opponent to wrap the tie 9-11, 11-5, 11-5, 11-4.

However, the top seed Maanav Shah played in top gear and beatAahan Shah 11-3, 11-4, 11-6. Another impressive winner was Craig D’souza, who was , however, made to fight hard by Pranav Premjit before the former triumphed 11-5, 10-12, 11-4,1-
