MDFA Div-2 football
IIT Powai put up a gutsy display and fought hard to overcome Future Stars Academy 2-1 in a well-contested Second Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2018-2019, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel. Strikers Toshan Kharumnuid and Yash Maheshwary were bang on target for IIT Powai, while Future Stars reduced the margin through Ajay Kadam’s goal.
In another match, Air India Wester Region and arun Mitra Mandal shared honours as they played out a goalless draw.
Results – Div-II: IIT Powai 2 (Toshan Kharumnuid, Yash Maheshwary) beat Future Star Academy 1 (Ajay Kadam).
Soccer Raiders Renaissance 4 (Silvester Chunekar 2, Sheldon Sharma 2) beat Sahar Silver Star 1 (Riystonn D’Souza).
