Indian Cultural League (ICL) Under-19 scored a hard-fought 2-1 win against Tata Power in a Second Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association League 2016-2017, and played at the Schools Sports Centre ground, Azad Maidan. The ICL colts scored their goals through Rahul Mathew and Vijay Maurya, while Vicky Bagade pulled one back for Tata Power.
Meanwhile in a Third Division encounter, Young Boys ‘B’ team blanked Miracles FC 2-0 with Crindani Atique and Zaid Ansari netting a goal each for the winning side.
In another match of the same division, Ruffians FC ‘A’ got the better of a fighting Rudra Academy by a 2-1 margin. Avelino Faria and Shaizan Badshah scored a goal each for Ruffians, while Rudra Academy got their lone goal through Xavier D’Souza.
