ICL Payyade SC put up a solid fighting display and managed to carve out a close 2-1 win against D.K. Pharma SC in a First Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel.
In a well-contested encounter ICL snatched an early lead when striker Aaron Olaide found the net in the ninth minute. But the Pharma outfit soon restored parity through Roshan More’s strike in the 13th minute. Gauraj Surve netted ICL’s winning goal in the 77th minute.
