ICL (Indian Cultural League)-Payyade scored a narrow 2-1 win over Income Tax in a Super Division match of the MDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel.
Income Tax against the run of play took the lead through Tyson Patel’s goal in the 11th minute. But, ICL fought back and in the very next minute their Nigerian striker Michael Idewele netted the equalizer before Sumedh Kandala scored the decisive winner in the 88th minute.
Earlier, ICL Under-19 side outplayed Sirf Keval SC romping to a 6-0 win. Strikers Aaryan Bhandari and Adveya Male, bith struck a brace of goals each, while Ayush Male and Stelon Koli netted one apiece to complete ICL colts big win.
