Hirai Suns put in plenty of hard work and their efforts were rewarded as they managed to clinch a narrow 1-0 win against Sanchita FC in an exciting league match of the Colaba Sports League and played at the Cooperage ground.

Both teams created quite a number of openings at either and came close to scoring on a number of occasions, but the decisive goal came towards the fag end of the match when Sushil Kawde scored from a penalty to give Hirai Suns the win. Undoubtedly Sushil was later declared ‘Player of the match’.
