The third day of the MCDTTA First Division Inter Club Table Tennis League held at NSCI, Mumbai, witnessed two well contested matches, in which PJ Hindu Gymkhana ‘A’ team and ‘MLWB-KKB ‘A’ team emerged winners, clearly indicating that they were in the race for medals. The third team which is also favourite, is strong looking MLWB-KKB ‘D’ team comprising of Eric Fernandes, Noel Pinto & Paresh Murekar.

All the three PJ Hindu Gymkhana teams, two in Men’s 1st division and one in Women’s First division won their respective matches today. For their A team it was their fourth successive victory, while their B team won their first match today. Their Women’s team won their third match today, opting for Maria D’sa for their match against NSCI.

The third day, however belonged to Zubin Taraporewala, who kept himself cool, while playing for his team Parsee Gymkhana against well balanced sides of PJ Hindu Gymkhana ‘A’ and MLWB-KKB ‘A’. Zubin won all his four matches against both the teams, but that was not enough for his team to record wins, as the opponents grabbed the opportunity to win the deciding match. And, on both the occasions, it was the turn of his colleagues Sarosh Shroff and Rayomand Marolia to take the beating.
