The hosts PJ Hindu Gymkhana and Garware Club House will have their two teams each in the semi finals of the Inter Club Invitation Table Tennis Tournament to celebrate 125 years of PJ Hindu Gymkhana. Total eight teams from South Mumbai Gymkhanas/Clubs had entered in this tournament with four each in two different groups.
PJ Hindu Gymkhana-2 ( Group B)
While in the morning session we saw the domination of first team of Hindu Gymkhana, in the evening session the second team of Hindu Gymkhana represented by Praksh kelkar, Abhay Mehta, Sanjay Mehta, Mahendra Chiplunkar, Sanjay Nemlekar, Dr.Anagha Joshi, Ketan Pandya, Leroy D’sa & Miten Khatau also proved their supremacy with a maximum of 13 points scored, followed by second team of Garware Club House represented by Chand Patel, Sharad Grover, Ravi, Pradeep, Krish and others, also securing their berth in semi finals with seven points.

The other two teams in Group B were Radio Club represented by Jogesh,Naresh, Joseph, Misbah, Sharan & Amir, and Cricket Club of India represented by youngsters Nekzaad, Shihaan, Aarush, Yashas and veterans Hoshang Vajifdar and Prakash Punjabi, who secured 3rd and 4th place respectively in this group league. The best well contested match of the evening was between Prakash kelkar of Hindu Gymkhana and Chand Patel of Garware Club House , which Chand narrowly won 7-11,17-15, 11-9 . and that was the only match won by Garware Club House against the hosts. The semi finals and finals will be played on Friday 29th from 6pm onwards.
