Delhi batter rose to the challenge and produced a solid batting performance against Mumbai reaching 324 for the loss of three wickets in the first innings on the third day of their 4-day first round match in the Buchi Babu All-India Invitation Cricket Tournament 2023 and played at SCF Cricket Ground, Salem on Thursday.
In response to Mumbai’s gigantic total of 619 for 7 wickets declared Delhi, who resumed at their overnight score of 47 for two wickets, lost just one more wicket in the day. The highlight of Delhi’s innings was the century knocks from Himmat Singh batting 127 and Jonty Sidhu batting 114, which ensured they put up a strong fight back.
