Grand Masters Harika Dronavalli and Koneru Humpy made it a great day for India at the Fide Women’s Grand Prix on Sunday by winning their respective matches.
Harika recorded her second straight victory by beating Georgia’s Javakhishvili Lela to hang on to the early lead that she had taken on Saturday. Humpy beat Zhao Xue of China.
Harika has a tough game on Monday though. She takes on Ju Wenjun of China, the current World No. 2.
