Spartan SA scored a hard fought 4-3 win against Steadfast FC in a First Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel. For Spartans Striker Saud Sheikh scored two goals while Sajid Shaikh and Vasan Tabapa netted the other two goals to complete the win. Steadfast FC got their goals through Ranzie Kalicharan, Reegan Misquitta and Avlon Dias.
In other matches, Mumbai United FC got the better of Maurya Youngstar FA 2-1 and Ratnam FA tamed Vintage Football Club winning by a 4-1 margin.
