The ‘Gracias Cup’, an one-day instant football tournament to commemorate former versatile striker, Late Marto Gracias will be conducted at St. Francis D’Assisi Ground, IC Colony, Borivali on Sunday, October 15, 2017. This event has a unique, special feature and will strike a heart-warming chord as all proceeds raised from the event will be donated to Veruschka Foundation, an organisation espousing the cause of individuals with developmental disabilities (Autism, Down Syndrome, et al).
A total of 30 teams across Mumbai, including 24 teams in the men’s category and 6 teams in the women’s category will compete in 20-minute knock out matches. The two teams that make it to the finals in their respective categories will battle it out for the ‘Gracias Cup’.
