Goregaon Sports Club and Goan Sports Association shared hounours as they played out a 1-1 draw in a First Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Wednesday evening.
After a barren first half, the Goregaon outfit took the lead with striker Gaurav Salvi finding the net in the 76th minute. But Goans fought back and managed to restore parity through Clinton Calvin’s late strike in the 85th minute.
Results – Div-I: Goregaon SC 1 (Gaurav Salvi) drew with Goan SA 1 (Clinton Calvin).
