P.J.Hindu Gymkhana in association with Maharashtra Veterans Association and Mumbai City District table tennis Association, will be hosting State Veterans table tennis Championship on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November , at their gymkhana premises, Marine Lines.

Mr. Miten Khatau, Hon. Table tennis Secretary, P.J.Hindu Gymkhana is happy with the overwhelming response received from the veteran players, for this tourney. On Thursday evening he was personally present to supervise the preparations for the tournament and with the help of few junior players, he also tested the balls to be used for the tourney besides, the arrangement of TT tables.
There are 250 entries received for the individual event, while there will be 55 teams participating in the team event. This being a state championship for veterans, top players from the state have confirmed their entries. Prakash kelkar, Sunil Babras, Upendra Mulay,Rohit Choudhary , Suhas Kulkarni,Pinakin Sampat and many others will be seen in action, during the two days programme. Mr. kamlesh Mehta former national champion, will personally monitor the progress of this event.
