Goans Sports Association fought back to hold St. Paul’s SC to a 1-1 draw in a First Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Thursday evening.
St. Paul’s forged ahead through Xavier Fernandes’ strike in the 25th minute but the Goans showing plenty of determination managed to restore parity with Mangboi Madlip finding the target in the 37th minute.
Results – Div-I: St. Paul’s SC 1 (Xavier Fernandes) drew with Goans SA 1 (Mangboi Madlip).
