Inspiring Humanity put up a solid fighting display and managed to pull off a narrow 2-1 win against Kalina Village Boys in a Boy’s Under-16 match of the 16th Kalina Football League, organised by the Our Lady of Egypt Parish Church Sports Committee, and played at the Our Lady of Egypt Church ground, Kalina. Striker Bevan Galbano was instrumental in Inspiring Humanity’s win as he struck both the goals. Fizan Shaikh netted the lone goal for the Village Boys.
In another closely contested encounter, Air Inida Colony and Junior Rangers were engaged in a 1-1 draw. For Air India the goal was scored by Aadesh Jadhav, while Rangers got their goal through Ivan Fernandes.
