Future Stars struck top form and stormed past Bodyline Sports Club by recording a convincing 5-0 win in a Women’s Super Division match of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2022-2023, played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Sunday morning.
Showing good understanding and combining well as a team, Future Stars scored at regular intervals through their strikers Pooja Gautam, Pooja Gupta, Aarati Katkar, Atisha Saini, Punam Kumari and Pournima Sale, all contributing with a goal each to complete the winning tally.
In another women’s match, PIFA Sports also enjoyed an easy outing as they outplayed India Rush Sports Club by a commanding 5-0 margin. Strikers Meher M., Eugenie Sigwald, Pooja Kapate, Thailand Devi and Shriya More, all scored a goal apiece to round off PIFA Sports victory.
