Franco Sports played with plenty of grit and determination to carve out a tight 1-0 win against a spirited Sterling Das FA in a First Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel. In a keenly fought match, the first session failed to produce a goal, but Franco Sports for all their hard work found reward when Nayan Kajve struck the decisive winner in the 70th minute of the match.
In another match, Xavier’s Boys were a bit fortunate to take all the three points as Bharat Bohra’s own goal in the 21st proved sufficient for them to snatch a 1-0 win.
