Yash Doshi, who has won many Corporate TT Titles for HDFC Life along with his partner Suraj Chandrashekar, was in great form while playing for his club Indian Gymkhana in the finals of the 2nd division Men’s Inter Club league yesterday evening at NSCI. Bespectacled with perfect fitness for the game, Yash displayed consistency with his forceful forehand and backhand attack against his two opponents Chand Patel and Ravi Shah of BCA-Garware Club. His partner Sameehan Kulkarni won the other match against Ravi Shah. The only match the opponents won was that of veteran’s champion Deepak Dudhane , who beat Yash Dalvi, the third player of Indian Gymkhana.

In the Men’s Inter Offices league of first Division, played the same evening New India Assurance beat Compu Services 3-2, while Mumbai Port Trust beat Godrej & Boyce in the 2nd division Inter Office match.

In one of the well contested 1st Division Men’s first division Inter Club league matches, Student YMCA ‘A’ scored a hard fought 3-2 win over P.J. Hindu Gymkhana ‘A’ with Suraj Chandrasekhar winning both his matches. The Inter Office and Inter Club League Matches in the Men’s first division and Women’s 1st and 2nd division are in progress and will conclude on Thursday afternoon with final league stage to be played at 3.30 and 4.30 pm respectively.
