Lanky Yashasvi Jaiswal once again put up splendid allround show as Mumbai took the first innings lead of 79 runs over Maharashtra on the second day of the Under-16 Vijay Merchant trophy tournament, here today. Other notable performer was opener Arvind Lavande, who hit up 64 with eight fours and two0 sixess.
Yashasvi, after hitting 57 with 10 fours in Mumbai’s score of 234, he captured five wickets for 54 with his fastish legspinners. He was well assisted from the other end byAtharva Ankolekar who returned with four for 57 as Maharashtra were bowled out for 155. Earlier, Yashasvi had taken seven wicckets against Baroda.
