Riding on Figo Rodrigues’ superb hat-trick Our Lady of Fatima stormed to a facile 4-1 win against Football Leaders Academy in the Rustomjee-MDFA Yuva President Boys’ U-146 League 2018-19 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel. Raj Jadhav scored the fourth goal for Our Lady of Fatima, while Football Leaders pulled one back through Manav Dukhande’s strike.
In another match, Samuel FC produced a good combined effort and dictated terms against Millat FC as they romped to a convincing 4-0 victory. Working well as a unit, Samuel FC got their goals through Sam David, Akshat Jain, Rakesh Rathod and Rahul Yadav, all netting one each.
Mumbai Marines also enjoyed a successful outing as they overcame FC Mumbaikars 2-0. Strikers Ayaan Mahajan and Arrhan Bhat were on target with a goal each to secure Marines victory.
