Rahul Mitra Mandal hit prime form to snatch a deserving 5-2 win against FC Mithagar in a Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Sunday evening. Strikers Freedon Fernando and Prathmesh Dhumal scored two goals apiece, while Atul Patel netted the fifth for the victors. Muguresh Sawant netted both the goals for the losers.
In another match of the same division, Athens XI and Naseeb Reloaded shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Athens scored through Omkar Duduskar and Naseeb scored their goal through Prathamesh Koli.
