‘Double happiness’ for Dinkar Selarka


Most popular table tennis player from Mumbai,  Dinkar alias Pappu Selarka celebrated ‘double happiness’ at the ongoing World Veterans Table Tennis Championship at Las Vegas, USA. Dinkar had a tough time overcoming few top players from China, France & USA from his group before qualifying for the main draw in Men’s 60+ section. This was followed by his success in Men’s doubles, along with his Mumbai partner Suhas Dandekar. The pair qualified for the main draw in Men’s doubles 60+ section. According to latest news evergreen Prakash kelkar has also qualified for the main draw in the men’s singles 60+ and also in doubles.

In the 40+ men’s section, Ravi Shah has also qualified in Singles as well as doubles with his partner Abhishek Saini. Dr. Ashok Kalambe qualified for the main draw in men’s 50+ section along Sunil Babras & Atmaram Gangarde.

 

In the men’s 65+ section Suhas Kulkarni, Yogesh Desai , Pinakin Sampat & Deepak Dudhane have qualified for the main draw. Suhas Kulkarni &  Pinakin Sampat together have entered Main draw in men’s Doubles 65+ section. The results of other matches are still awaited.
