Soham Athale and Khyati Gholap,both from Goregaon Sports Club, bagged gold in their respective under-14 boys and girls free style and breast stroke events in the inaugural Poinsur Gymkhana swimming championships,held at adjacent Kamla Vihar Swimming pool here today. The event was held under their annual Uttar Mumbai Krida Mahotsav,saw Soham clocking 0:55.56 seconds in the 72m free style event and 1:17.78secs in the breast event, while Khyati timed 1:08.82 secsin freestyle and 1:25.05 secs in the breast stroke.
Overall, the meet by the swimmers from Goregaon Sports Club in the boys section while Ozone called the shots in the girls section.
