Sales tax Assistant Commissioner Mr. Premjit Rananavare has been showing remendous improvisation in his game this year. Last month he invited all the attention during the PYC State Ranking Veterans Table Tennis tourney, when he reached last eight in men’s 50+ age group. Three months ago, he won the Consolation Doubles prize in the World Veterans TT Championship at Las Vegas. And now, he went on to add two more feathers in his cap, bagging two Gold medals today. Being the last day of the term of present managing committee, the Table Tennis department of PJ Hindu Gymkhana had organized Table Tennis matches for their TT members today.

The matches were played in two events. The team event and open singles event on league basis. Premjit who is a Service member of the Gymkhana not only bagged the Singles Gold medal but also bagged another Gold in the team event partnering TT marker Sanjay Golbare. P.J.Hindu Gymkhana Hon. TT Secretary Ulhas Shirke bagged Silver in the Singles event, while newly admitted Playing member 19 year old Siddhi Kolekar, bagged Bronze in the same event. Siddhi also bagged a Silver in the team event partnering Veteran and former National level player Jagannath Mohite. Incoming Hon. TT Secretary Miten Khatau who shared a Bronze medal along with Ulhas Shirke in the team event, was the guest of honour and Dr. Kishore Gandecha who was the chief guest, gave away the prizes.
