Abdullah Khanyari (Ecole Mondtale World) was the outstanding boys under-18 athlete with two golds and a silver in the SASA (Schools Association for Sports and Athletics) 2nd inter-school athletics championships, at the University Stadium, Marine Lines here today. Abdullah won golds in the 100m sprint as well as long jump event. He just missed a triple when he was pipped at the post by his teammate Jai Agarwal in the 200m event. While in the girls under-16, Billabong International’s Eira Pandya, ended with a double by winning the 100m and 200m sprints.

Podar Internationals’ Raahil Baig was another impressive winner in the boys under-16 400m event. While overall, the athletes from Surat’s Fountainhead school excelled , with Rajat Gothi being the best with two golds in the 100m and Lon jump events Many of their athletes figured among the top three finishers in various events.
