Don Bosco, Matunga Under-12 and Under 16 teams walked away with the top honours in the Futsal event organised by Khiladi Connect as part of their National Sports Day celebrations.
In the boy’s under-12 final, the Don Bosco lads prevailed over Children Academy, Nerul by a three goals to one at the KICK ground, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai. Karsten scored two goals while Harsh got the other to complete the win for the Matunga kids. Harpratap scored the lone goal for the Nerul side.
In the under-16 final, Don Bosco ‘A’ got the better of Don Bosco ‘B’ by a close 5-4 margin.
Khiladi Connect is organizing the National Sports Day from August 25 to 29 and they will be conducting tournament in various sports disciplines like Futsal, Basketball, Swimming and Hockey. The events will played at different locations in Mumbai during that period.
