Divyansh Saxena- new star on the Mumbai cricket horizon


The Mumbai lad Divyansh Saxena,  having scored heap of runs in the domestic season for Mumbai under-19 teams in the Cooch Behar  and Vinoo Mankad trophies (2019), in order to enhance his credentials further has now been coached by India ex-Test opener and coach Wasim Jaffer and mentor Jwala Singh  under  MCC-Jwala Coaching Centre of Excellance. The centre has already produced India  stars Prithvi Shaw and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Divyansh during the recent under-19 tour of Devon (England) , where he played in the  Tochards Devon Cricket League (ECB county Premier county league), impressed the hosts with spectacular performance, having become highest scorer in the  10-team League, played over 50 overs.  He had scored three centuries (103*, 108* and 162) play two half centuries. Not only that, he bagged 13 wickets with his spinners.
