Orlem Super Cup:
Our Lady of Egypt Parish, Kalina enjoyed a good outing as they sidelined St. Thomas Church Parish, Vasai 2-0 in a Men’s Open first round match of the Dhoot Developers sponsored 5th All-Mumbai Inter-Parish football tournament for the ‘Orlem Super Cup’, organised by the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Orlem and played at the Church grounds. For the Kalina parish outfit strikers Dan Dias and Anthony Machado netted a goal each to secure the victory and a passage to the second round.
Meanwhile, St. Gonsalo Garcia Parish, Vasai tasted success as they got the better of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception ‘A’, Borivali by a close 1-0 margin in men’s second round match. Seltzer D. scored the only goal of the match.
