Lance Dharmai and Christopher Sequeira, both scored hat-tricks each as AK Chimbai registered a thumping 9-1 win against Sea View SC in a Premier Division third round encounter of the 15th Bandra West Football league, sponsored by Baba Siddique & Zeeshan Siddique and conducted by the BWFA (Bandra West Football Association) and played at the Dr. Norman Lewis Supari Talao, Municipal grounds. Dominating from the outset, Chimbai raced to a 5-0 half-time lead.
Besides the fine efforts from Dharmai and Sequeira, the others who contributed towards the win, was Rohan Kadam with two goals and Arif Qureshi with one to complete the margin of tally for Chimbai. Sea View got the consolation goal through Mario Fishery.
In another match, Kaleem Munshi scored the all-important winner as Somlands overcame Carmelites Crusaders 1-0.
In a boys’ under-14 match, Theresians SC and Carmelites SC played out a tame goalless draw.
