Desperadoes FC scored a hard-fought 2-1 win against Goans Sports Association in a well-contested First Division match of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2022-2023 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Wednesday.
The star performer of Desperadoes close win was strikers Aylmer Gonsalves who scored both the goals to seal the win while Goans SA had taken the lead through Yash Kasare’s strike.
In another match, India On Track defeated Carmelites SC by a comfortable 4-1 margin. Striker Kent Yhunyebu struck a brace of goals while Chirag Das and Veron Koli added one each to complete the victory, while Carmelites scored through Geetesh Chimbalkar.
In the third match, Goregaon SC and Companeroes SC ‘B’ shared honours in a goalless draw.
