Producing a fine combined performance Desperadoes SC outplayed Juhu Beach United by a convincing 3-0 margin in a First Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel.
Desperadoes started well and forged ahead through Aman Shaikh’s goal in the ninth minute before Kushal Meher doubled the lead with a clinical strike in the 23rd minute.
Leading 2-0 at half-time, Desperadoes continued to hold sway after switching ends and added the third goal through Paresh Arekar in the 70th minute.
Earlier in the Second Division encounter, Rahul Mitra Mandal overcame Sporting Options 3-1. For the victors, Monish Panchal scored a brace of goals and Atul Patel got one while Gladson Mendonca pulled one back for he losing side.
