Deep Wagh’s scored two goals to lead PIFA Under-19 to a comfortable 3-1 win against Soccer A-Z in a First Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel, on Friday. Aman Gaikwad got the third goal for the winners while Manish Jethwa scored the lone goal for the losers.
Earlier in a Second Division match, Rudra FA romped to a 4-1 win over Sahar Silver Star SC. Striker Abhishek Jadhav netted a brace of goals, while Umang Gandhi and Surendra Shinde scored one each for the victors, while Silver Star pulled one back through Subin Varghese.
