Striker Daniel D’Souza’s superb hat-trick and some brilliant teamwork was the feature of Companeroes SC’s emphatic 9-0 win against Sea View SC in a lop-sided Men’s Premier Division match of the 15th Bandra West Football League 2016, sponsored by Baba Siddique & Jeeshan Siddique and conducted by the BWFA (Bandra West Football Association) and played at the Dr. Norman Lewis Supari Talao, Municipal grounds. Prashant Gaurav contributed two goals while Yogesh Kadam, Jonathan D’Lima, Dayle Hendriques and Wren D’Abreo, all chipped in with one each to seal Sea View’s fate.
In another match, Friends FC riding of Keith D’Souza’s double strikes blanked Kant Wadi Stars by a comfortable 2-0 margin.
Meanwhile, Chimbai SC rallied to hold Bandra Packers 2-2 and Celtic 7070 and AK Chimbai also shared honours in a 1-1 stalemate.
