The Hindi One act play competitions always invite a very good response. This was the 13th year of INT Astitva Sathye College jointly hosted Open One Act Play competition and the joint winners were M.L Dhahanukar College and Bhavans College Andheri for their plays ‘Kua Ma Dub Jaoongi’ and ‘Khol Do’ respectively. The second prize was won by ‘Drushti’ , which was performed by Usha Pravin Gandhi College.

Deepak Ghogle & Bhavesh Surte were declared best directors for their play ‘Kua Ma Dub Jaoongi’, while for the same play Chinmay, Amey and Dikshant received best music award. Shashank Jadhav received the award for best writer for the play ‘Khol Do, while Snehalata Maghade received the best acting award for her performance in this play.

The best acting 2nd and 3rd prize went to Ahan Nirban and Manmeet Pem respectively. ‘Drushti’ proved dominance in technical awards . In the tough qualifying round 5 plays were selected for the final round and the judges for the final round were Aslam Parvez and Dharmendra Gohil.
According to the organisers, the competition was very tough and the artistes and the technical teams displayed their best to make this competition a grand success. The two judges appreciated the efforts put in my the performers.
