Clive Coutinho’s twin strikes were the feature of Udaya Sports Club’s emphatic 5-0 win against Uchil United Sports Club in a league match of the 20th Late Shri Ramanath Payyade Memorial Football League 2015-2016, organised by the Karnatak Sporting Association (KSA) and played at the KSA ground, Cross Maidan.
The Udaya outfit went on the offensive from the outset and dominated the match. Besides Couthino’s fine efforts, Royston D’Souza, Jayesh Naik and Dilip Manohara contributed a goal each to complete the rout.
Earlier in another league encounter, Satya Vijaya SC and Bombay Fort SC shared honours as they played out a 1-1 draw to split two points. Tushar Poojary scored for Satya Vijaya while Bombay Fort got their goal through Sanket Poojary.
