Mumbai Customs scored a narrow 1-0 win against Central Bank of India in an Elite Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the Cooperage ground on Monday evening.
Versatile midfielder John Coutinho netted the lone goal for Customs in the 62nd minute.
Meanwhile in Super Division matches played at the Andheri Sports Complex, Sellebrity SC rallied to hold GM Sports 1-1. Krishna Sakat put GM Sports in front in the 8th minute before Sellebrity drew level through Mrudal Parab’s goal in the 26th minute.
In another match of the same division, Chedda Nagar SC and Mumbai Warriors shared honours in an exciting 3-3 draw.
