MDFA football (Elite Div):
Companeroes SC ‘A’ and RSF Spartans SC shared the spoils as they were engagaed on a 1-1 draw in an Elite Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2019-2020 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground on Tuesday.
Compnaroes took the lead through Aniket Shigvan;s first half strike before RSF Spartans equalized through Dhamanpreet Singh’s goal midway through the second half.
Meanwhile, Companeroes SC ‘B’ team was also involved in a draw as they were tied goalless with Veera United FC in a Second Division encounter, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel.
Results – Elite Div: Companeroes SC ‘A’ 1 (Aniket Shigvan) drew with RSF Spartans SC (Dhamanpreet Singh).
Second Div: Companeroes SC ‘B’ 0 drew with Veera United FC 0.
