A spirited Companeroes SC ‘B’ scored a hard-fought 2-1 win against Poinsur Gymkhana in a Second Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Tuesday. George Vaz and Suresh Suthar netted a goal each for the winning side, while Poinsur Gymkhana got their goal through Swapnesh Jadhav.
In the second match, Sajid Ansari fired in a fine hat-trick to guide Bombay YMCA to a facile 4-1 win over Sporting Options. Adnan Ansari got the fourth goal for YMCA, while Stanford Britto scored Sporting Options lone goal.
