JSW Steel struck good form and coasted to a comfortable 3-1 win against Tata Power in a Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2015-2016, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Thursday. Striker Jaihind Pal netted a barce of goal and Suraj Rai got one for the winners while Tata Power pulled one back Saurabh Sahil.
Meanwhile, Sterkem Pharma encountered a tough fight from a young Hugh Fernandes Academy outfit before clinching a close 1-0 win in another match of the same division. The all-important winning goal for the Pharma side was scored by Vijay Pandey.
