Colaba FA showed plenty of resilience and fighting spirit as they pulled off a narrow 1-0 win against a dogged Bombay Gymkhana Colts in an interesting and keenly contested First Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel on Wednesday. The Colaba outfit after missing quite a number of chances finally scored at the death with striker Chinmai Pednekar finding the net in the fourth minute of additional period.
Meanwhile, Skorost FC overcame Juhu Beach United 3-1 in another match of the same division. Abhay Amin, Sanjay Mangola and Kiran Jadhav, all scored a goal each to complete Skorost’s win while Juhu Beach United reduced the margin through Siddhant Kripalani.
