Community Football Club of India (CFCI) and Millat FC recorded contrasting wins in the respective Super Division matches of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League.
Playing with plenty of determination, CFCI managed to stave off a strong challenge from West Zone United FC to snatch a tense 2-1 win, at the Cooperage football ground. Striker Devashish Sawant played a key role scoring both the goals, while West Zone United pulled one back through Sohail Khatri’s efforts.
Earlier, Millat FC outplayed Companeroes SC winning by a handsome 6-0 margin, at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra. For Millat FC striker Aburazeen Patel scored three goals while Nehal Salian netted two and Umar Farooq got one to complete the win.
