Defending champions Central Railway SA cruised to a fluent 7-3 win against Sports Authority of India in a Super Division match of the MHAL League 2018-2019 and played at the MHAl Stadium, Churchgate on Monday.
Former international Yuvraj Walmiki led Central’s charge to victory scoring four goals, while Deepak Lakra struck two and Rajendra Pawar got one. Sports Authority of India scored through Dinesh S. two goals and one from Mohit G.
Central completed the league having won four games and drawn two to tally 14 points and are in second position behind leaders Indian Navy 16 points. Both Navy and Central Railway will clash in Wednesday’s final to be played at 4.00pm.
