Youngsters Mustafa Manager, Bhavitavya Shah and Yash Doshi representing CCI ‘A’ team won their fourth match in a row, with a much deserved 3-1 victory over equally balanced young team of P.J.Hindu Gymkhana ( PJHG) ‘D’ team comprising of Soham Rane, Om Lotlikar and Aditya Tawde, today evening. For CCI team Bhavitavya won both his matches, while the other match was taken by Mustafa Managerr. For PJHG, Om Lotlikar won the lone match. CCI ‘A’ thus become favourites to win in their section ‘B’ of 2nd division in the MCDTTA annual Table tennis league, this year.

This was the only loss, the P.J.Hindu Gymkhana teams suffered, as their other teams playing in 2nd , 3rd and 4th division won their respective matches, with comfortable victories. PJHG ‘C’ team recorded their third consecutive win with 3-0 victory over Students’ YMCA , with Suhas Kulkarni, Pinakin Sampat and Jayant Kulkarni winning their respective matches in the section A of 2nd Division.

PJHG ‘F’ team comprising of Rajesh Pandit, Ulhas Shirke & J.D. Maheshwari recorded their third consecutive win with each one of them winning their respective matches against Ravindra Deodhar, Parag Pradhan & Sanjay Deshpande of MLWB-KKB ‘C’ team, to give their team a 3-0 victory, in the Section A of 3rd division league.
In the fourth Division, where the PJHG is playing only one team, recorded their 3-0 victory opposite Proctor YMCA team with Rohan Udeshi, Dinesh Parikh and Sharad Tikekar winning their respective matches with ease. The other PJHG team ‘E’ represented by by Premjeet Rananavare, Rishi , Sameehan playing in the section ‘B’ of 3rd division, also recorded their 3-1 victory over MLWB ‘B’ team in their ‘away’ match , when reports last came in.
