GM Sports Club hung on dearly to Roysten Castelino’s fourth minute strike to overcome Salcette FC 1-0 in an Elite Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Wednesday.
In another match of the same division, Millat FC dropped two points as they conceded a goal at the death and were forced to play out a 1-1 draw with Bombay Gymkhana.
After a barren first half, Millat took the lead through their consistent scorer Aniket Shipe in the 52nd minute before Bombay Gym managed to find the equliser when Arshan Doctor scored way into stoppage time.
