The Maharashtra State Senior Snooker & Billiards Selection (leg-1) Championship 2018 will commence with the Senior Billiards qualifying round of matches scheduled to be played simultaneously at the Poona Club and Deccan Gymkhana in Pune from Friday, September 7, 2018.
A total of 32 players will be participating in the qualifying round and eight players (quarter-finalists) will join the top 8 ranked State players (as per last year’s ranking) in the main draw, which will start from September 8.
The Senior Snooker event will tentatively start from September 14 and the deadline for submitting entries is Sunday, September 9.
The State selection (leg 2) is scheduled to be played at the Bombay Gymkhana, Mumbai, from November 10 to 25.
Players who have not registered with BSAM and have not paid their entry fees will not be permitted to participate in the championships.
