Bowlers called the shots as table-topper MCC (Yellow), thanks to fine bowling by Anuj Giri and Nishant Trivedi, continue to maintain their unbeaten run in a low scoring tie with a 43 runs win over MCC (Green) in the return leg of the 6-team MCC Double-Leg Pro-40 league, played at Oval Maidan here today.

After batting first, the ‘Yellow’ were bundled out for 142 with Raizan Rabbani (4/39) and Adarsh Singh (3/19) doing the most of the damage. But the table-topper hit back and dismissed ‘Green’ for 99 with Anuj (3/14) and Nishant (2/23) sharing the spoils.
In the adjacent plot, Jwala Sports Foundation put up a splendid show as they chased down MCC (Black)’s score of 200 with three wickets in hand. Put into bat, MCC (Black) with Dasrath Chavan top-scoring with 66, hit up 200 for nine. Ishan Porwal bagged four wickets. However, JSW, in reply, were well served by Awaish Khan, who remained unbeaten 61 with seven fours and a six to steer JSW to 3-wicket win.
