Navroz Cricket Club started their campaign on a winning note by beating Mane Cricket Academy by four wickets in the MCC Under-19 Super League Cricket League tie, played at Dadar Parsi Zorashtrian ground at Matunga here today. The architect of their victory were medium pacers Bhushan Talawadekar, who bagged four wickets for 18 runs. He was well backed by Sbhubham Kharat (3/41).
Playing on their home ground, Navroz CC opted to field after winning the toss. Their move proved successful as Mane CA were shot out for 133 in 32.4 overs. Medium pacers Bhushan Talawadekar and Shubham Kharat shared the spoils. Chasing none too formidable score, Navroz CC with Karan Suriya (65) and Jash Ganiga (40) in fine touch saw their side romp home with four wickets to spare.
