Bhosale Cricket Academy scored an exciting 20 runs win over MCC ‘A’, while Brain-4 Sports thrashed Kaustab Pawar Cricket Academy by 8 wickets in their opening ties in the MCC Talent Search under-12 cricket league (Season-1) , co-hosted by Jwala Sports Foundation at Santacruz’s Air India Sport Cub at Kalina.
Batting first, Bhosale boys scored 119 for eight of the allotted 25 overs. Arya Karle top-scored with 49. In reply, MCC ‘A’ ended with 99 for nine. Hursh Rumde top-scored with 30, while Aarav Malhotra bagged three wickets for 13 runs in the allotted five overs. In the other tie, the Pawar Academy, batting first made 87 for nine off 25 overs. In reply, Brain-4 Sports Academy reached the target for the loss of just two wickets.
Six teams are in the fray and the matches are being played over 25 overs with each team getting five games before the top two will contest the final.
