Bhosale Cricket Academy , spoiled MCC (Blue)’s winning run, by gaining three points by virtue of their 12 runs first innings in their second tie in the four-team MCC Two-Day League, played at Oval Maidan, yesterday. BCA, thus are jointly on second position with MCC (Red). The fourth team JSF, having played just one match, so far , have yet to open account.
In a low scoring tie, the “Blue” were bundled out for 98, but they then hit back to dismiss BCA for 110. The “Blue” in order to score an outright win, went for quick runs in the second knock, making 192 for six, thanks to belligerent 100 by Altamesh Khan, before declaring. However, .BCA batsmen went into their shell and ended with 118 for five at stumps on the second day.
Brief scores : MCC (Blue) 98 all out (Pranat Jadhav 42; Siddhant Kewat 3/19, Bipin Rai 3/45, Shumaaq Sajit 2/6) and 192/6 decl.( Altamesh Khan 100, Vishal Singh 31) lost to Bhosale Cricket Academy 110 all out (Tanmay Chavan 35; Altamesh Khan 3/28, Jash Dedhia 3/32) and 118/5 (Ankit Jadhav 49, Shumaaq Sajid 36) on the first innings.
